Bromeliad
Can't find any recently taken images that i really feel like posting at
the moment. You all know how it is. Found this shot trawling through
the archives. Taken in my garden when we had more rain early last year.
This is a bromeliad of which pineapples are a member of this flower
family. I have recropped it as
the verticals were creating a convergence effect. Nothing techical here
just wanted a bit of colour. Processing was a crop, levels adjustment
and a sprinkle of sharpen.

Very vibrant nev. The darker bits almost look like lipstick tubes, or perhaps something ruder. Say, have you flagged this as risqué?

Sprinkle of sharpening like you are baking a cake. Obscene little tongues sticking out, or aliens getting born. Tch, have to watch my language here.

Sort of "Male dogs convention" thing....right?
nev: After i posted this i remembered that i was stuffing it away for a rainy day for other reasons. I have never been to one of those conventions Ray. sounds like too much testosterone for me.
Fantastic image. Like it a lot. Cheers, Dave
